Orange Firefly Part Four:D

Orange Firefly Continued...

"You may come out now." the Queen finally said. Isabella and I stepped outside.
"We need to talk. But for now, you should probably get out of your pyjamas." I was taken away
by a servant and dressed in a t-shirt and jeans. Isabella came out too. She had a pink shirt and
blue overalls. The Queen motioned for us to sit down. "A long time ago," she started, "there was
a prophecy. The child with hair of night will come from the enemy, and will bring back the power
of the waterfall crystal. She will re-awaken what shouldn't have been awakened, yet she will
restore peace and harmony." Everyone was silent for a really long time, then finally the Queen
said, "That child is Isabella."

Mrs. Ander's house

It was a dark, stormy night when Josie was asked to deliver the newspaper to Mrs. Ander, who lived on the other side of town. "Will you Hun? Your Father disappeared in the storm, and we need someone to do it." pleaded Josie's Mom. "Why should I?" snapped Josie. This behavior didn't seem new to Josie's Mom, Josie was a brat. I know, eleven-year-olds shouldn't behave that way, but I'm not Josie's Mom. "...Please...?" implored her Mom. "Oh, fine!" hissed Josie, with a hostile look in her eyes. She ripped the paper from her Mom's hand, and set off to the other side of town.
The rain pelted the ground, and the only light outside was the striking bolts of lightning. "...Stupid paper..." growled Josie under her breath. She had been running across town with a worthless scrap of newspaper for over fifteen minutes. She finally reached Old Mrs. Ander's house. She knocked on the door. "Help!" screamed a man's voice. Was it, was it her Father? She was about to go in on her own, to see why her Father was screaming, but Mrs. Ander pulled her in first.

Josie and Donald still weren't back. Why did her Husband and Daughter mess up everything? Eliza took another newspaper, and prepared to deliver it herself...

Orange Firefly Part three!!!

Even More Orange Firefly

"Quick!" yelled the Queen, "Get into the closet!" Before we could even think, we were stashed like teddy bears in a cramped closet. "What's going on?" cried Isabella. "Shh!" whispered the Queen. Isabella fell silent. I watched through the crack as three knight-like soldiers marched into the beautiful throne room. "The Governess, Clairideen!" they announced. It was hard to stay silent when I saw who the Governess was. Great Aunt Claire! "I sense the chosen ones." she said to the Queen. "Well?" questioned the Queen innocently. "I thought we made a treaty to leave them alone!" she snapped. " I do not have the chosen ones." persisted the Queen. "Not at all!" confirmed Nym, "In fact, they are currently not in that closet, and not in this castle!" "Are you so sure?" asked Clairideen coldly, "Why don't I check?" "You can't! Uh...Isn't my word enough! There is not any children in that closet! Positive! Sure!" fretted Nym. "Well I think that.." started Clairideen, "Your Governess," interrupted a guard, "It's time for your pedicure!" As my Once-Great-Aunt-Now-Enemy stalked off, she looked at Nym and the Queen and said, "It's not over. It's just started"

Flappy's Glop burgers

This is a story I created on a car ride in Maryland.

Flappy's Glop Burgers

"Ah..." said Flappy, "my factory's done!" He had just hung up the final sign saying, "Flappy's Glop Burgers! Best glop! Only $9.99 per burger! Best Glop around!" Look at me now, Chirpy, He thought. Chirpy was NOT a good bird. He stole Flappy's nest, and built a huge furniture store out of it. Flappy was so depressed, he moved to Quebec. Now, Flappy had something to be proud of. His glop burger store!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A Week Later...

"Hold your horses, kid! You'll be served next!" Flappy's glop burger store was indeed something to be proud of. It was the most popular restaurant in all of Canada! Of course this didn't go unnoticed by Chirpy. "How come Flappy gets the fame? WHY??????????????????" called Chirpy to the great bird god in the sky. "Wait...maybe I can reclaim the stardom! Muahahahahahhahaha!" To Be Continued...

Orange Firefly Part two

This is more of the Orange Firefly

Continuing the Orange Firefly

After hearing Isabella, I ran to her aid. I didn't see her or the firefly. I looked around, and then I saw a hole in the trees roots. I noticed it was closing up. I saw a torn piece of Isabella's nightgown on one of the roots. Without thinking, I jumped into the darkness after her. "Sorry about the shock you two, but I needed you here right away!" said a very high and fast voice. I looked up. Isabella was quivering, and I saw the speaker...the firefly! "By the way, my name is Nymphadora, but some people call me Nymphie, which became Nym, which became The N. But you can call me Nymphie. No, actually Nym, No! Just stick with The N. Or maybe..." "How about weird firefly who took us into a weird world?" I interrupted sarcastically. "That'll do...but I must get you to the light queen's palace right away. She's been waiting." "Why?" asked Isabella. The firefly said, "Just follow me! I'm an expert on directions! Best guide in the world! Lead you anywhere..." "Just get on with it!" I snapped. After multiple twists and turns, we finally made it. The palace was crystal, and sparkly. Isabella stood outside of the door, taking it all in. I grabbed her and dragged her into the palace. "Greetings my friends." called a voice like bells. I looked and saw a beautiful woman, with long blonde hair and a blue dress. "I assume Nymphadora didn't cause you much trouble. Isabella and I looked at each other, and tried not to laugh. "It's okay," giggled the queen, "she's quite a hyper one." "Why do you want us?" asked Isabella. "You both are in great danger." said the queen grimly. And then and there, an alarm sounded.

The Beginning of the Orange Firefly

Hello! This is a preview of something I'm working on.

The Orange Firefly

"Mark! Look at me!" I whirled around to look behind me. And there she was, my eight year old sister on a branch that didn't look to sturdy. "Isabella!" I scolded, "Get down from there!" "Aww..." she sighed as she climbed down from the tree. I didn't want to spoil her fun, but I wanted her to be safe. Suddenly, Isabella didn't look to sad anymore. "Fireflies! Fireflies!" she ran around in her white nightgown, her black hair swaying and dancing in the breeze. "She seems to feel at home." I sighed. Mom and Dad were away on a business trip for a week, so we were stuck with our creepy Great Aunt Claire. She had ordered us to her backyard, so we'd be out of her way. I really didn't like the yard. All the trees were so tall and sharp. But their branches looked as though they'd drop you any minute. The grass was up to the middle of my thighs, and the shadows of the trees made they yard seem so...dark. In all of the thirteen years of my life, I had never been in such a gloomy place. It gave me comfort to hear Isabella giggled as she chased the fireflies. Then suddenly, I saw her chasing an orange firefly. I felt as if there was something suspicious about it. But before I could warn her,I heard her scream.

The History of Molly's Pen

Hello Everybody!

My name is Molly. I guess this blog started when my Mom's friend suggested I start a writing blog. I asked her a few questions, and then I got to work. So here I am today, making my first post. I'll be writing stories, and you may read them. I don't have anything yet, but I will as soon as possible. I also hope my stories will give other writers inspiration during the dreaded writers block! I hope you enjoy Molly's Pen!
